About us
We are an informal group of amateur birdwatchers who share a fascinating hobby. The group was formed in January 1995. Membership is open to all regardless of age. Subscriptions are minimal.
Our members come from across the Fleurieu Peninsula — Goolwa, Pt Elliot, Victor Harbor, Mt Compass, Willunga, McLaren Vale, Clayton, Ashbourne — and the Adelaide metropolitan area. We have over 100 members: some are very experienced birders and some are beginners.
Visitors and prospective members are always welcome to join us at meetings and outings. We especially welcome interstate and overseas visitors.
