Campout 2007: Old Melbourne Road, Salt Creek

The Old Melbourne Road is flanked by saltpans and winds through scrub. The dry saltpans yielded few bird sightings, but we found Striated Thornbill in the melaleuca by the Nature Walk and further along, the industrious Malleefowl. See the Malleefowl's daily grind.
