We set up camp at Gemini Downs. We first surveyed the waterhole on Salt Creek alongside the main road.
Black-tailed Native Hen and Red-kneed Dotterel fed at the water's edge.
As we walked the Ngrugie Ngoppun (looking listening) trail we spotted Little Egret and above us, Little Black Cormorant.
Fairy Tern hovered and dived into the creek.
Near the estuary we looked across the Coorong, crossed the creek and walked back through the scrub on the opposite side. Here Mallee Ringneck swooped among the branches.
